Good news is that you don't have to develop any products. It's all done for you. All you need to do is to promote affiliate products. And bad news is ...Well.. there isn't any bad news! Just in case you don't know production cost of products can run up to thousands of dollars. And this doesn't mean that the product will make any many!
There is NO CHARGE to Get Started in Affiliate Marketing
Think about it! Why would you spend thousands of dollars (which is normal set-up cost) for brick-and-mortar business if you can do it for free. Yeah! That's right! It doesn't cost any money to get started in affiliate marketing. And if someone is asking you for money to get started...Leave it and never come back! There may be companies that will want some money from you, but you don't need to pay for it. Most of the affiliate programs (99.3%) are free of charge!
As and Affiliate You Can Sell Anything That Can be Sold
By now, anything that can be sold through affiliate networks is being sold already. And if something is not selling it means only one thing - You can make money out of it! The easiest way to do a quick check if you can make money out of potential affiliate program is to type mane of the product into the Google and see if there are any sponsored links (AdWords). If so it means that other affiliates are making money.
No EXPERIENCE Necessary
Good thing about affiliate programs is that you don't need to be a sales pro. With traditional business you need to know stuff, such as, how to setup stock control, how to hire stuff plus all the legal requirements...Here is what I'm trying to say.. I can't promise you that with affiliate marketing you'll make lots of money fast, but I can promise you one thing about traditional business. You'll have hart aches, headaches and if you don't know what your doing your out of business and out of money faster than you think! Once again traditional business requires you to pay bills - big ones. Something like this is not going to happen with affiliate marketing. You join program you want, you choose to work as much as you want, you make as much money as you want... And when you'll become super successful affiliate superstar than you can find a few helpers to help you out with something you don't want to do (this is called outsourcing).
As an affiliate marketer you don't need any premises. All you will need is already there. Sounds too good to be true. Well, you have computer and Internet connection. Otherwise you wouldn't be reading this. Yo have skills to read this post...so it isn't nuclear science after all!
No PAYMENT PROCESSING Nightmares!
This is good one! I don't know if you know how to set-up payment processing. If you know...well done to you! If not you have two options:
- you'll learn how to do it yourself (good luck with that)...
- or you 'll join affiliate program and you'll spend your valuable time doing something better- like counting money!
Because products are made by someone else, remember your job is to only promote them, you don't have to worry about anything else. The person who created products already worked out how to handle products, how to handle customer service... Just imagine what Thai means! How would you like to handle 100 phone calls a day from your customers?
So in summary... affiliate programs are a great way to make money online because you don't have to do many things you would have to do if you had traditional business. This means that you can concentrate on marketing your products. Because of this there is huge income potential and freedom. Of course there is downside to this. Affiliate marketing work on commission (percentage from sale) basis, so you get paid portion of the sale. Some commissions are huge, some are extremely small, even insulting! But hey! All you need to do is to do some research around. Tip of the day - don't jump to the first affiliate scheme you find!
